Choosing a Church and Photographer for Your Northampton Wedding

January 25th 2012 -

Northampton is blessed with some of the prettiest villages in England, and nearly all of them have one or two outstanding parish churches. More often than not these churches are under the supervision of a vicar who manages several churches in his jurisdiction.

The Church of England diocese of Peter borough is the contact point for arranging a venue. You also want to find a good wedding photographer in Northampton and check some of his photos if he has portfolio of shots taken in some of the local churches. This will give you an idea into his eye for not only people, but also some of the county’s finest architecture.

Viewing a Northampton wedding photographers portfolio will also help you choose which church you might want arrange your wedding in. Normally it would be a local church but if you live in the county it is not so much of a problem to arrange any facility as long as you inform the diocese in time and enquire about their list. Obviously, the busiest times are June, July and August. Some of the more popular churches in the prettiest villages, such as Gayton and Bugbrooke have the longest waiting times. But as long as you look around at the various locations offered by the Anglican Church you will never be short of a beautiful location for your special day.
